" In this damn corner, looking through all my thoughts and looking over my shoulder."

My Christmas is ...

So i woke up at 8 after a bad hangover from the last SyokShock for the year 2009! woohoo! ready to hit the road to Pahang Darul Makmur to witness the winding road, steep hills and greenery views of ...

Cameron Highlands Baby!!!!

Before that though, we stopped by Bukit Jelutong's Asam Pedas (dont mind the restaurant name, it serves roti canai like the damn mamak stalls!) for breakfast and then..... we hit the road.

Believe it or not, it took us nearly 5 hours to reach up. Traffic was horrible all the way up to Brinchang. (blame it on the school breaks/lousy roadworks/Christmas season when all of us berangan wants to feel like we're at overseas with the cold weather)

Cameron Highland : Traffic madness

It didnt bother us that much till we arrived at the Ye Old Smokehouse for lunch. to my surprise this place is beautiful!!!!

Christmas Lights @ Cameron Highlands Resort..

We had Japanese for dinner at the Gonbei Japanese Restaurant. Its an open air restaurant and with that 16 degrees out there at night.. I must say that it was a lil uncomfortable eating. My miso soup got cold in like 10 minutes?!! sheesh! After Dinner We Drove to Tanah Rata and had coffee @ Starbucks, Cameron Highlands. its not that far though.. give it 10 - 15 minutes from our hotel.

Followed by tea break.

We were really sitting there from (Lunch) 2 pm - like 5 pm (tea break)
Booked myself a nice spa treatment. tea bath + strawberry bath + 50 minute Massage

Look at me all rejuvenated :)

On our way back home we stopped at the tea plantation and had scones again :)

"I enjoyed the whole trip!!! It was different and you'll be amazed on how
beautiful the scenery is at times. due to it being the Christmas season, I wouldn't ask for anything else then to be with my love ones at this beautiful place"

A woman's worth - A letter from a Christian to Muslim Women

She is my precious gems, pure gold, or the “pearl of great value”
Thank you mama for forwarding this eye opening letter.. Not to cause any disruptions here in FB but to just spread a heartfelt letter from a very modest writer...

read only when you are free...its long but worth reading ..

March 7th, 2007
By Joanna Francis Writer,
Journalist - USA

Between the Israeli assault on Lebanon and the Zionist “war on terror,” the Muslimworld is now center stage in every American home. I see the carnage, death anddestruction that have befallen Lebanon, but I also see something else: I see you. Ican’t help but notice that almost every woman I see is carrying a baby or has childrenaround her. I see that though they are dressed modestly, their beauty still shinesthrough. But it’s not just outer beauty that I notice. I also notice that I feel somethingstrange inside me: I feel envy. I feel terrible for the horrible experiences and warcrimes that the Lebanese people have suffered, being targeted by our common enemy. But I can’t help but admire your strength, your beauty, your modesty, and most of all, your happiness.

Yes, it’s strange, but it occurred to me that even under constant bombardment, youstill seemed happier than we are, because you were still living the natural lives ofwomen. The way women have always lived since the beginning of time. It used to bethat way in the West until the 1960s, when we were bombarded by the same enemy.Only we were not bombarded with actual munitions, but with subtle trickery andmoral corruption.

Through Temptation

They bombarded us Americans from Hollywood, instead of from fighter jets or withour own American-made tanks. They would like to bomb you in this way too, afterthey’ve finished bombing the infrastructure of your countries. I do not want this tohappen to you. You will feel degraded, just like we do. You can avoid this kind ofbombing if you will kindly listen to those of us who have already suffered seriouscasualties from their evil influence. Because everything you see coming out of Hollywood is a pack of lies, a distortion of reality, smoke and mirrors. They presentcasual sex as harmless recreation because they aim to destroy the moral fabric of thesocieties into which they beam their poisonous programming. I beg you not to drinktheir poison. There is no antidote for it once you have consumed it. You may recoverpartially, but you will never be the same. Better to avoid the poison altogether than totry to heal from the damage it causes.

They will try to tempt you with their titillating movies and music videos, falselyportraying us American women as happy and satisfied, proud of dressing likeprostitutes, and content without families. Most of us are not happy, trust me. Millionsof us are on anti-depressant medication, hate our jobs, and cry at night over the menwho told us they loved us, then greedily used us and walked away. They would like todestroy your families and convince you to have fewer children. Theydo this by presenting marriage as a form of slavery, motherhood as acurse, and being modest and pure as old-fashioned. They want you tocheapen yourself and lose your faith. They are like the Serpenttempting Eve with the apple. Don’t bite.

Self-Value

I see you as precious gems, pure gold, or the “pearl of great value” spoken of in theBible (Matthew 13: 45). ” All women are pearls of great value, but some of us havebeen deceived into doubting the value of our purity. Jesus said: “Give not that whichis holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample themunder their feet, and turn again and rend you” (Matthew 7: 6). Our pearls arepriceless, but they convince us that they’re cheap. But trust me; there is no substitutefor being able to look in the mirror and seeing purity, innocence and self-respectstaring back at you.

The fashions coming out of the Western sewer are designed to make you believe thatyour most valuable asset is your sexuality. But your beautiful dresses and veils areactually sexier than any Western fashion, because they cloak you in mystery and showself-respect and confidence. A woman’s sexuality should be guarded from unworthyeyes, since it should be your gift to the man who loves and respects you enough tomarry you. And since your men are still manly warriors, they deserve no less thanyour best. Our men don’t even want purity anymore. They don’t recognize the pearlof great value, opting for the flashy rhinestone instead. Only to leave her too!Your most valuable assets are your inner beauty, your innocence, and everything thatmakes you who you are. But I notice that some Muslim women push the limit and tryto be as Western as possible, even while wearing a veil (with some of their hairshowing). Why imitate women who already regret, or will soon regret, their lostvirtue? There is no compensation for that loss. You are flawless diamonds. Don’t letthem trick you into becoming rhinestones. Because everything you see in thefashion magazines and on Western television is a lie. It is Satan’s trap. It is fool’s gold.

A Woman’s Heart

I’ll let you in on a little secret, just in case you’re curious: pre-marital sex is not eventhat great. We gave our bodies to the men we were in love with, believing that thatwas the way to make them love us and want to marry us, just as we had seen ontelevision growing up. But without the security of marriage and the sure knowledgethat he will always stay with us, it’s not even enjoyable! That’s the irony. It was just awaste. It leaves you in tears.Speaking as one woman to another, I believe that you understand that already.Because only a woman can truly understand what’s in another woman’s heart. Wereally are all alike. Our race, religion or nationalities do not matter. A woman’s heartis the same everywhere. We love. That’s what we do best. We nurture our familiesand give comfort and strength to the men we love. But we American women havebeen fooled into believing that we are happiest having careers, our own homes inwhich to live alone, and freedom to give our love away to whomever we choose. That is not freedom. And that is not love.Only in the safe haven of marriage can a woman’s body and heart be safe to love.Don’t settle for anything less. It’s not worth it. You won’t even like it and you’ll likeyourself even less afterwards. Then he’ll leave you.

Self-Denial

Sin never pays. It always cheats you. Even though I have reclaimed my honor, there’s still no substitute for having never been dishonored in the first place. WeWestern women have been brainwashed into thinking that you Muslim women areoppressed. But truly, we are the ones who are oppressed; slaves to fashions thatdegrade us, obsessed with our weight, begging for love from men who do notwant to grow up. Deep down inside, we know that we have been cheated. We secretly admire and envy you, although some of us will not admit it. Please do notlook down on us or think that we like things the way they are. It’s not our fault. Mostof us did not have fathers to protect us when we were young because our familieshave been destroyed. You know who is behind this plot.
Don’t be fooled, my sisters. Don’t let them get you too. Stay innocent and pure. WeChristian women need to see what life is really supposed to be like for women. Weneed you to set the example for us, because we are lost. Hold onto your purity.Remember: you can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube. So guard your “toothpaste”carefully!

I hope you receive this advice in the spirit in which it is intended: the spirit offriendship, respect, and admiration. From your Christian sister with love

Confession of the Broken Hearted

My eyes are scared. My eyes are scared of pain, or rejection. I know how much it hurts to lose someone I cared for, but in return they dumped me like a sack of potatoes! Someday I will find my special friend, or lover, so i shouldnt stay hidden too much. I have also seen much misery so i pefer to keep it safe, and keep my heart locked up from everyone that seems to be interested. My eyes are scared, my eyes are scared of pain... dont wanna go through.. when i am scared

Cheap Fame MuthaFucka!

Since today is a Public Holiday and im at work!!! (Damn Boss!)

Cheap fame, yeah Vote yourself.

Whats wrong with the people senses today? We are now, conquered by the voting system again and again and again. All manipulated to waste more and more money. Now, talentshows, reality shows, comedian talent shows, winning a million bucks! talent shows, and well I don't think I should list more, are all based on the sms votes. And hell yeah, from what I see, we have bad taste in making decision about who are talented and who arent . Not to mention our film makers."Mami Jarum" beats movies like "Sepet or Cinta or Cuci" for god sake! and honestly I'd kill myself if i were to write scripts like that.
People its time, its time for me to spread some senses to all you dumbass voters! There was this particular talent show that I've been watching . Don't ask me why but surprisingly with my fantabulous tight schedule, I've manage to follow the show till the final. From the start it was obvious who was gonna win #1, who's gonna be winning best guitarist, and also best rapper!. But when the final decision came, holly shit it was bullshit!. Look, im not bias, well yeah sometimes but I am so sure that I have taste in music and what just happened that day was enormously full of crap!
Best guitarist werent the best, the winners for vocal group was absolutely boring, and ugh! I think everything on that show was not right. Thank you to all you die hard fans of shitty performers! damn! Its all the same! You vote them win, and ask yourself, how far can they go after the fame in a season? or better still im so sure some previous winners just dissapeared and was never in the hotspot again. To the contestants, it a 5 minute fame they say.. you wont go far no.. not when you act like freaks on stage!
Well, blame yourself! The contestants might be your friends, or family, but have some common sense! If theyre not good then f**k it! These proves the saying about us Malaysian are sympathetic and too kind which makes us develop nonsense future artists in our music industry. Then we complain that our music is crappy, why? Take a look around, and listen.. it's all about popularity. Whatever man. You can say that they have some great aura that blinded you to vote them, but start using your brain and vote for the best.OR DONT VOTE.. JUST FOLLOW..
However.. no use me writing and ranting bout this crap.. majority wins and all i can say, the majority are narrow minded Freaks!

"Mama, for your sake... Mawi is exceptional"

p.s - Personally.. underground bands and indie film makers produces better outcome than all the above jackasses!.. i support them and to hell with the rest.

"Teacher, Ape bau Rokok Nie?"

This morning when I was heading to work, as usual I will stop by at u8 store to get my self coffee and lil sotong balls to munch while driving. There were parents walking their lil kids to the montessory. Adorable as they are with pony tails and high socks, some with happy faces and some with scared ones.. some with heavy heavy school bags some with none and more.. it made me think back at the time when i was teaching in KUMON a few years back for a part time job and helping the kids in achieving good intepersonal communication in english and also maths in english.....its not teaching actually but guiding and marking all of their nonsence! yup they called me teacher or teacher Nina...hehhe and was proud of it....!
Ok heres a story to tell that really made my face pink as what a kid would color the lil piggy in their coloring books. I had my cigarette break and a lil coffee here and there...all ready to go back to class and see alll those adorable faces. As i walked to the class..all eyes was on me and i have no idea why until one brat asked me infront of the whole class.....
"teacher....ape bau rokok nie....?"

Yes...as you can imagine my situaion, I was just thinking of slapping that brat!( nah!) hahahahha....well I got through though...telling them that the guard was smoking and start telling them how bad smoking is....mymymy....
teacher Nina...hahahahha....well its hilarious when i think of it...since then...i will always remember to bring extra fumes to get rid of that teacher smoking smell......im sorry kids....

Nina Shit Head

How could I loose track when talking? goddamn it! i can get totally blank lately that causes me saying all the wrong things sometimes....talk nina talk! fuck! I know how i am in certain situations. You see, i screw things up easily....yup you got that right! im a screwer! Spoiler! i'll stumble and fall at lime lights...i'll accidentally knock my head on some wall or all the other dumb accidents in TV yup! you can see it in 'Nina'.

Theres this one time (at band camp kakakak) i was working with Juice Magazine for an event in Velvet and clearly my editor introduced me to the dj on that night as dj Shazz....

So, then i went to the loo and came out. with the confidence on my face and actually asked the dj if i could put my bag at the console...you wanna know how the conversation and how sick ass i was?...

" hey NESH, do you think i can put my bag at the console?"
NESH? NESH??????? WHAT THE FUCK!

i saw the frown on his face and sarcasticly he said " NESH? its Shazz...." again the sick ass pain in my freaking head and that red warm feeling starts to spread all over my face and holy shit, I didnt even go to the console the whole nite coz the thought of me mistakenly calling him some other dj's name pisses him off and it actually made me realize what a shit head i was!

So in this note i believe that sometimes...its kinda better if i just dun talk...or when need to ask.. think! first!

darn..

Nina

so long and goodnight

Ever wonder why you take you try and snap picture when ur faking your sleep sometimes? there were once when i had a really good talk wit a lecturer of mine about what actually makes people snap pics when ur asleep? almost 80% percent of the class ( Introduction to photography) handed in pics of themselves sleeping!!! hah! when it comes to assignment u know ur faking it! but why? some people have this fantasy dying looking good....( dude, when you die, ur blue!) i admit i do think of it when i die, who will actually be there? how will it be? who cries for me and stuff? ( dun deny it, i know u guys think of it too!) but deep in the heart of people who takes their pic sleeping isnt because of how ugly they look in their sleep....or vice versa, its actually how are you gonna look like when ur dead!....it might be dumb for me writing this but it hits me that my lecturers facts might be true..DEAD is a powerful word....an image of you smiling shows alot of things but a picture of you sleeping tells a million stories too.......

However.. the art of sleep ... tempting!
